Oluaka Institute of Technology was set up by the CLEEN Foundation (a justice sector reform NGO) founded by the late Mr. Innocent Chukwuemeka Chukwuma, a criminal justice sector specialist, and the first Nigerian Director of Ford Foundation Office for West Africa.

Who we are

Oluaka Institute of Technology, OIT is a leading center for “technovation” (technological innovation) and enterprise education. It was set up in 2017 to contribute to bridging the gap in practical training, business incubation and acceleration in the fields of technological innovation and business entrepreneurship in Nigeria.

The Institute's state-of-the-art facility is located at Obinze, Owerri, South-East Nigeria. In 2019, Oluaka Institute of Technology was accredited by the National Board for Technical Education, NBTE to run two-year diploma programs leading to the award of the National Innovation Diploma, NID. It is listed in JAMB as the fourth tier.
